The BAT Cave

Photos of Old

Huh? What?

Today's Action Photo

Today's Action Photo is a picture of the world-famous Congress Avenue Bridge, just south of downtown Austin, Texas, right around sunrise. This bridge is the home of Austin's urban bat colony of Mexican Free-tailed bats who live in the expansion slats beneath the bridge! The bats are currently on vacation in Mexico, since they don't like cold weather much.
