Today's Action Photo is a picture of an alligator sunning himself on the riverbank at Brazos Bend State Park near Houston, Texas. The alligators at Brazos Bend have the run of the park, and there are no barriers of any kind between the gators and park visitors! Photo taken with a handheld Canon Elan IIe camera, 70-200mm f/2.8L lens with a B+W multicoated UV filter, Kodak Portra 160NC film. Exposure settings were 1/500 second at f/5.6 with +1/2 stop of exposure compensation.
