Huh? What?

Today's Action Photo

Today's Action Photo is a picture of the oldest artificial "hygieostatic" bat roost in Texas! It was built in Comfort by Albert Steves in the early 1900s as a way to encourage bats to live near towns so they would eat mosquitoes and help control the spread of malaria. Photo taken with a Canon Elan IIe camera on a Manfrotto Wilderness tripod, 70-200mm f/2.8L lens, Fuji Superia Reala 100 film. Exposure settings were 1/250 at f4 with +1/2 stop overexposure bias.
